Portland is getting known as a foodie town and it is a reputation well-deserved. Sustainable, organic farms are within the city limits and as close as 10 miles from the city center. The city and surrounding communities boast of numerous farmers’ markets.

Travel less than one hour and you’ll be in Oregon wine country, which is internationally known for their Pinot Noir.  Travel another half hour and you’re at the breath-taking Oregon coast, feasting on fresh seafood caught that day.
